Milling for the Soleplate and Insert
One of the more painstaking procedures, milling for the face insert and soleplate, is an exacting process. The pattern is cut on the sole and face of the Persimmon turning. The soleplate and insert are then attached by hand before moving to the next procedure. We favour a stainless steel soleplate and cycolac (high impact plastic) insert for our clubs.
